Spicy Fried Beans

This is a good addition to a salad. In the picture I serve with hummus, grated carrot, red pepper, rocket, fermented tofu (made by Taifun) and toast fingers.

Spicy Fried Beans
Ingredients
  • rapeseed oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • 1 tin tinned beans or chickpeas (drained)
  • 1/2 tsp each of ground cumin, onion granules, garlic granules, paprika
  • salt and black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
  1. Fry the garlic for a few minutes then add the drained beans. Cook until beans are warmed through and starting to crisp a little.

  2. Add spices and cook for a couple more minutes. Season to taste.
